DESCRIPTION:Eastern Sierra ExpeditionYou will be traveling along the beauti
 ful Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains from the Iconic Alabama Hills to the b
 eautiful ski town of Mammoth Lakes CA. Along the route you will be explori
 ng the back roads of Alabama Hills\, where numerus movies have been filmed
  in the past\, historic Manzanar camp and some amazing gold mines througho
 ut this sections of the Eastern Sierra. It will be a camping trip full of 
 amazing views\, possible river crossings and some technical off-roading an
 d not to be taken lightly. October in the Sierra's experience's freezing t
 emperatures. Please pack appropriately for your trip\, clothing and equipm
 ent wise. This 3 day\, GPS based\, route includes scenic &amp\; historic d
 estinations of the Eastern Sierra's. Using paved and unpaved roads you’l
 l have approximately 60 miles of fun each day! This route can be done by b
 eginners if they are willing to learn and take their time\, but it is reco
 mmended for intermediate off-road skill level. Experienced drivers can be 
 challenged by choosing "hard" splits if available. We do our best to inclu
 de as many miles of dirt as possible. 3 days of stunning California beauty
 \, hanging out around camp and meeting new people\, this wont be a trip yo
 u'll forget! Upon purchase of the route you will be personally invited to 
 join us on a camping trip on the set dates above. The camping trip does no
 t have any costs\, it is just a fun time to gather and run this amazing ro
 ute with a group of fun experienced off-road drivers and campers that you 
 are invited to join upon purchase of the route. All campers are required t
 o have and use a UHF radio to communicate within our group. We will be usi
 ng a set channel that DOES NOT require a HAM radio operators Lic. We also 
 encourage the use of Gaia GPS\, it is the software we use to create the ro
 ute for everyone\, but any GPS is acceptable as long as it has the routes 
 on it. THE PRICE INCLUDES THE ROUTES FOR A CAMPING TRIP. These routes will
  only be available until October 1st. That is what you are paying for. The
  routes will be emailed to you via GPX file that you may use at anytime. T
 he routes are NOT for resale. we have spent countless hours prepping the r
 outes for everyone to enjoy and we cant wait to share them with you! This 
 is not an organized event. The time and place is just when/where a group o
 f friends will be at to start our trip and we are inviting YOU to join us 
 on this crazy adventure!
